Go on a safari through the Groningen landscape (Westerwolde/Bourtange)

I will take you on an adventure through the fields of the Groningen landscape to show you which medicinal plants grow there. I will tell you about botany (how do you recognize the plant), about the medicinal properties and about the processing of the plants. I will also tell you about the history of the area and the special features of the landscape

Come across special and rare plants such as the round sundew (native carnivorous plant) and the large club moss. I will teach you the difference between the buttercup and the medicinal tormentil, how to distinguish St. John's wort from Jacob's ragwort.

During the walk we play plant bingo, in this fun way you learn to look closely at nature and store the information well so that you are less likely to forget it.
